The Grateful Dead performed at Haight-Ashbury’s own Straight Theatre in September of 1967. The show included the first appearance of Mickey Hart on drums with the Dead. Hart was invited to attend the show and then asked to sit in. The rest is history!
Printed in low quantities this poster seldom surfaces at public auction with this example being only the 4th CGC graded specimen we have ever offered. In February 2018 a lower 7.5 graded example reached $500 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this 8.0 poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. This superior graded piece is sure to generate exciting bids!
