Greg Irons was one of the great-unsung heroes of the 1960’s psychedelic art scene. Irons was a master underground comix poster and tattoo artist. His style was perfect for each of those mediums. This was the artist’s first poster for the Fillmore series. The story was that Greg went to Bill Graham with a copy of a poster he had just created for the Western Front. After seeing Irons' work Graham allegedly gave him 24 hours to produce this poster. Not bad for a rush job huh?

Chuck Berry posters are red hot in today's markeplace. The high water mark for this issue is a graded 9.8 example we auctioned for $471.00 on August 2017. This 8.5 example here is 100% original and in super clean condition. Many collectors believe that posters graded 8.5 by CGC represent the best value in the marketplace today. See our blog dated 1/31/18 to learn why demand is currently skyrocketing.
