The 1968 Jimi Hendrix Experience US tour was the groundbreaking guitarists most successful tour to date. This was Hendrix at the top of his game. Ever since blowing away US audiences with his performance The Monterey Pop Festival in June of 1967 the artist truly began to gain superstar momentum. Hendrix returned to the states in 1968 and took the country by storm.
