This poster was just the third in the Bill Graham Fillmore series and a leap forward in design for Artist Wes Wilson. The show featured the Paul Butterfield Blues Band who were quickly becoming a high profile national act after several members backed Bob Dylan at his famous Newport Folk Festival Electric debut.
In November 2017 a lower 7.0 graded example reached a very affordable $328 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this 8.0 poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior example now. This 100% original first printing is super clean and could very well be undergraded in our opinion. A real piece of history that is sure to gain in desirability with each passing year.
