Sons of Champlin headlined this benefit show at the historic Nourse Auditorium in mid-1969. The Nourse was a beautiful 1 687-seat venue located at 275 Hayes Street in San Francisco. Built in 1926 it was used as an auditorium for student events and assemblies until 1952. The venue was then used intermittently for pageants and concerts until 1985 when the auditorium was temporarily converted to a courtroom for a large asbestos exposure case.
