The Plasmatics were a punk rock/metal band formed in New York City by Rod Swenson and Wendy O. Williams in late 1977. They were known for over-the-top stage performances which included sledge-hammering television sets and blowing up automobiles on stage. Lead singer/songwriter Wendy O. Williams committed suicide in 1998 and their concert material has become highly collectible ever since. This perfect mint original handbill is from a show in Long Beach during their west coast spring tour of 1992. Handbills are currently one of the hottest segments of the market.
