When it comes to important historical reggae figures there is Bob Marley in a league of his own then everyone else. That's why it seems that almost every Marley item we offer at auction commands record bidding activity and prices realized. This lot is special in two ways it's from the highly sought after Pacific Northwest region and it remains in the exact same condition as it was created 39 years ago!
With Betty White supporting this concert took place during Marley's "Survival" tour. Very few of these ultra rare Paramount Theatre original posters survived the passage of time and even FEWER survived in this perfect tip top museum quality condition! We have only seen this poster once prior. In February 2018 a same graded example realized a high water mark of $1392 in our auction. With regard to desirability this piece is a world class collectible. The ultimate survival!!!
