The Keystone in Berkeley was a small club which hosted legendary concerts in the 1970s and 1980s. Numerous nationally known groups performed there and the venue was a regular spot for Jerry Garcia and his side project “Legion of Mary” with keyboardist Merl Saunders. This poster also promotes a Saturday show at The Stone which was the former location for the second attempt made by Peter Abram to re-open The Matrix club in 1973 at 412 Broadway in San Francisco.
