The closing of the Fillmore was a huge milestone in the history of the San Francisco scene and this David Singer design is one of the most collectible in the series. Although this poster is a commemorative poster as it was printed after the concerts it is agreed upon by lovers of this material as the original FINAL Fillmore West poster and is a MUST HAVE for collectors.
A couple months ago a signed lower 9.2 graded example realized $805 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this 9.4 poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold 9.2 example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior 9.4 example now.
