The San Francisco psychedelic group Blue Cheer was one of the great bands on the scene. They were shamelessly powerful and loud. Their take on Eddie Cochran’s “Summertime Blues” is the quintessential version . For this 1967 Fillmore appearance advertised on this poster the band shares the bill with the Vanilla Fudge another commercially under appreciated band from the era.
