This poster was created to announce the Fillmore appearance of Blues legend Howlin’ Wolf. This poster was designed by Peter Bailey who was responsible for the very first Bill Graham poster (also in this sale).  Artist Wes Wilsons  tenure as the primary poster artist for Graham was coming to an end at this point in the series and other artists were starting to work for the irascible promoter in his place.
