This Apostles issue from the Grande ballroom is an all time collector’s favorite. Artist Gary Grimshaw created the "Black to Comm" design with a photo by Leni Sinclair for this show in 1967. It's one of the most often published images from the Grande series showing up frequently in documents of the era. All posters from the Grande Ballroom are highly sought after and very collectible. These posters were printed in extremely small runs of just 500 and the quality of the artworks rivals anything done out west.
The last specimen of this poster in comparable quality was cataloged as Near Mint and realized $1147 over 3 years ago in May 2015. Of course that example was NOT authenticated and graded by CGC. It will be interesting to see what value will be attached to this unimprovable example in today's hot market.
