This is the FINEST CGC Signed example of this issue we have ever auctioned! Here is an early Wes Wilson iconic poster for the incomparable Otis Redding at the Fillmore. The legendary Stax-Volt singer made his only Fillmore appearance for three nights in December of 1966. There was a different opening act each night. The following December the beloved R&B star would meet his tragic demise. 52 years old legendary musician famous venue and artist CGC grading Superb Museum Quality. These are the type of posters in demand today!
In February 2018 a lower 9.6 graded signed example realized $558 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this 9.8 poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold 9.6 example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior artist signed example now.
