This is an original In-Store Promotional Poster for the 1981 Journey album called “Captured”. The artwork was done by none other than the great Stanley Mouse. This amazing image is a Scarab carrying its eggs in a dung bowl. When the eggs hatch the babies feed off the dung and become beetles. “It’s the regeneration of life” the artist once said of this beautiful design. The album was released by CBS Records who distributed this large square promotional poster to music stores and retailers. We have never offered this issue before in our auction until now. A classic Mouse masterpiece!
