It is an absolute pleasure to offer this extremely rare Original CREAM poster for the FIRST TIME in our auction! The quintessential British power blues trio decided to call it quits during May 1968. Later in July an official announcement was made that the band would break up after a tour of the United States and London later that year.
Their "Farewell Tour" consisted of 22 shows at 19 venues in the United States from October 4th to November 4th 1968 and two final farewell concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on the 25th and 26th. This original black & silver poster was produced for the very last 2 concerts and sold ONLY at the Royal Albert Hall shows. They sold out IMMEDIATELY; leaving most who attended those legendary concerts no chance of taking a poster home with them.
Eric Clapton’s grand position among the hierarchy of Rock and Blues masters is undeniable. His legend has propelled memorabilia and collectibles related to this star to soar over the decades. His guitars have sold for record shattering prices in recent years and continue to appreciate in value.
