Here for the FIRST TIME in our auction we have an Original 1989 Frank Kozik handbill designed for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Additional acts Bucket Pets and Pocket Fishermen were supporting these shows in Houston and Austin Texas. The image exhibits actress Sharron Tate who was murdered by the Charles Mason family in 1969.
Artist Frank Kozik got his start gaining popularity for designing posters around the Austin area in the late 80’s and early 90’s. His abilities grew and he has since become a member of the Stuckism art movement. His vast collection of beautiful work includes bands like Nirvana Pearl Jam Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots. Original Handbills like the one here are currently one of the hottest segments of the market!
