Here we have a superb museum quality Limited Release Silkscreen poster. The Rolling Stones “Bridges To Babylon” Tour began during September 1997 in North America with 56 shows. It then continued with 9 shows in South America 6 shows in Japan and 37 shows in Europe. Virgin Records tapped new artist Chuck Sperry to produce this lovely Oval Shaped edition of 1000 prints as a way to promote the new album and subsequent tour.
Sperry has been designing posters for well over 20 years and operates “Hangar 18” a silkscreen print studio located in Oakland CA. His work has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine The New York Times San Francisco Chronicle and The Guardian. Sperry silkscreen prints are consistently beautiful and he has been celebrated as one of the top modern era poster artists by his colleagues and fans alike. This piece is in perfect museum quality condition and is appearing for the FIRST TIME in our auction!
