The summer of 1969 was full of incredible festivals. The Seattle Pop Fest highlighted the power of Led Zeppelin and The Doors as well as country-rock legends The Byrds and the Flying Burrito Brothers. The total attendance over three days in Gold Creek Park exceeded 50 000 fans which for a northwest outdoor event was unheard of.
