Here we have an original poster for renowned jazz guitarist John Fahey being offered for the FIRST TIME in our auction! This piece was designed by poster artist Tom Weller. Legendary musician John Fahey borrowed from the folk and blues traditions in American roots music as well as jazz. He would later incorporate classical Portuguese Brazilian and Indian music into his ever expanding body of work. He came in 35th in Rolling Stone Magazine’s The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time list. This poster from Washington School Auditorium in 1967 is 100% original with no restoration and as far as we can tell has never before appeared at public auction until now!
