1967-BG-51-OP-1 Fillmore Auditorium-Grateful Dead/Otis Rush Concert Poster-CGC Graded 9.2

This desirable early Grateful Dead original first printing poster is one of the most sought after images of the Bill Graham collection. It features Wes Wilson’s art and an image that is associated with one of the most iconic bands of the period. It's only the third CGG graded example we have ever offered and is 100% Original with no restoration! This poster is extremely light sensitive. The blue color tends to fade to grey very quickly.

We previously auctioned off a 8.5 graded example for $816.00. This masterpiece is in a different universe quality wise and is worth multiples more. More recently in May 2018 a similar slightly higher 9.4 graded example realized the high water mark of $2186 in our auction. This 9.2 example here is virtually identical to that one in terms of super clean museum quality condition with no nicks cuts tears or pinholes of any kind.

Collectors "in the know" are aware the BG-51 OP-1 very seldom surfaces at auction in mint condition. It is often being hunted down by the community and we get numerous requests for it on a regular basis.
