This Gary Grimshaw poster for a 1968 Doors concert at Detroit’s Cobo Arena is a stunning representation of this iconic ‘60’s LA band at the height of their creative output. It's one of the most valuable of the Grande Ballroom series and Doors posters are amongst the most sought after in the marketplace. Very low quantites of these posters were produced and our records clearly show that VERY FEW of these have survived the test of time in ANY condition. We have only handled this title twice in our 10 years of auctioning. In June 2013 a similar condition example reached $3355 in our mega sale. Prior to that we had offered it once way back in July 2010. That one was "Near Mint 83" reaching a high water mark of $4675 in our mega sale.
