Here we have only the SECOND CGC graded example of this original handbill to appear in our auction and it's tied for the FINEST we have ever handled! The BG-5 is an early 1966 Wes Wilson design for a Jefferson Airplane show at the Fillmore. This is an example of the relatively primitive designs of the first few posters and handbills for the venue. You can really see the style of Wes Wilson evolving in these early Fillmore designs. This rare original handbill is in beautiful Museum Quality condition as if it were produced yesterday! Very few still exist in this top condition. In every collectibles market there are collectors where only the very best will do. The quality exhibited here will always enjoy top demand!
