This is the FIRST TIME we have offered this original Rolling Stones handbill in our auction! It’s hard to believe this old 1964 treasure has survived in such great condition all these years. We don’t often see them surface in pleasing shape like the one exhibited here. Another plus: the postal booking slip is still attached on the right edge! The Stones were joined at the Capitol Cinema with Freddie and the Dreamers and several other British acts during this month long hiatus from traveling. Two weeks after this concert took place the Stones embarked on their historic first tour of America. This gem from 1964 is in mint museum quality condition with only a light corner crease holding it back from a perfect “97” grade! Handbills are currently one of the hottest segments of the market.
