Hey Hendrix Fans! Here is a scarce original handbill we have NEVER auctioned prior until NOW! During the first week of September 1968 The Experience were touring the northwest states including a stop in Jimi’s hometown of Seattle which allowed him to spend time with family & friends. On the 9th the band travels to Portland Oregon for an evening performance at Memorial Coliseum with support from Vanilla Fudge Eire Apparent and The Soft Machine. Jimi’s set included “Are You Experienced?” “Fire” and “Little Wing”. Alan Hick’s photography of Hendrix on stage that night is very popular however THIS VERY RARE handbill almost NEVER surfaces at public auction! Very few survived the ravages of time in ANY condition! Handbills are currently one of the hottest segments of the market. See our blog dated 5/18/18 for details!
