 Arthel "Doc" Watson was an America treasure. His role in the preservation and popularization of American roots music is incomparable.. The legendary guitar master’s work spanned nearly 70 years but interestingly he did not record his first solo album till 1964 when he was in his 40’s.  This unusually psychedelic pristine handbill is from a rare performance in by Doc in Sausalito in the late sixties.
