This original handbill was distributed to advertise a benefit show on Valentines Day 1975 at the Apollo Theatre showcasing a performance by the Prince of Soul Marvin Gaye. His life was tragically cut short in 1984 when he intervened in a fight between his mother and father and his father shot him in the chest. Gaye shaped the Motown sound in the 1960’s and his music is still legendary and celebrated to this day. This handbill is in super clean mint condition and will please collectors of all genres!
