Jazz music tribute: We were saddened to hear of the passing of jazz legend Hugh Masekela earlier this year. This eye appealing original 1967 poster is from the only live performance he did at the historic Fillmore. Often referred to as "The Father of South African Jazz" Hugh Masekela was a genius composer as well as a talented trumpet trombone and flugelhorn player. During his long successful career he was nominated for a Grammy Award three times. This early poster is from the same era his pop jazz hit “Up Up and Away” was released. Great condition and the colors are beautiful!
