This is an Original Pre-Concert First Printing of this beautiful and highly sought-after Jimi Hendrix poster. This example is mounted on board which will allow collectors to own this treasure for far less than a mint copy would command. Regardless it will certainly demand lots of attention when one considers its legendary and historic value. This David Byrd image is celebrated in The Art of Rock as plate #2.90. The venue the famed Fillmore East was located in the lower East side of Manhattan and was host to all of the major acts of the day. There are relatively few posters for the Fillmore East rather Bill Graham used his print budget to create playbill type programs for the theatre style venue. This poster is one of the most requested Hendrix posters of all. A true gem in terms of scarcity design and performer.

Condition Details - Mounted on foam core. The colors are bright. Tack holes in the top corners top right corner is crunched slightly creases in the top corners top left corner has a tiny tear horizontal crease just above where it says 'Fillmore East'. 2" crease on the left edge 2" crease on the bottom left bottom left corner bump minor paper loss creasing and tiny tears on the right edge.
