This is THE gem of the Matrix Neon Rose posters series. It comes up less frequently and demands higher values than the rest of the series. The tiny club in San Francisco’s Marina district was not known to attract the bigger acts of the day mainly featuring blues and folk music as well as the up and comingb Bay Area bands. So it was by chance that they were able to book the up and coming LA band before their rise to prominence. The Doors in 1967 were just breaking out. This show was held just four months after the release of their first album “The Doors” .That LP featured the #1 hit “Light my Fire” which propelled the band to pop icon status. This poster is signed in pencil by the artist.
