This is a very scarce original A.R.T. Benefit poster from 1989 which included many musical guests and performances. The show featured the art of the legendary Big 5: Rick Griffin Stanley Mouse Victor Moscoso Alton Kelley and Wes Wilson. The Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia performed acoustic as “Garcia & Friends” with John Kahn on bass and special guest Bob Weir on guitar & vocals. They played an amazing 6 song set which included celebrated renditions of “Bird Song” and the Lowell George song “Easy to Slip”. Jerry also sat in with Country Joe McDonald on “Starship Ride” and “Lady With The Lamp”. Rare Jerry Garcia original show posters are highly sought after and collectible in their own rite. We’ve never offered this issue before.
