Here we have a promotional packet for the Grateful Dead’s first studio album with Warner Brothers designed by the late great Rick Griffin in 1967. Using the photo taken by Gene Anthony and then reversing the negatives Griffin supervised the printing of these now extremely hard-to-find handbills on two variants of colored paper yellow and green. Both versions are very rare and this example here is the green paper version. Early Grateful Dead material is always treasured when it is discovered and un-earthed. This mint graded 9.8 specimen is no different! In every collectibles market there are collectors where only the very best will do. The quality exhibited here will always enjoy top demand!
