The Reseda Country Club was leased by concert promoters Steve Wolf and Jim Rismiller in early 1979. They were the major promoters in Los Angeles at the time and therefore they were able to book premier shows of all types at the venue. The rock group R.E.O. Speedwagon was mostly playing heavy hard rock during the mid 70’s with only a small cult following. They were booked to perform at the Reseda Country Club in late 1979. It was just a year later they achieved national success with their album “Hi Infidelity” which changed their sound to a more mainstream pop style. Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought after type of concert memorabilia ever known. This example is in super sweet museum quality condition!
