Here is an offering from the tiny Matrix club in San Francisco’s Marina. The Matrix was an early club that hosted many Blues and folk acts along with the emerging San Francisco sound. Managed by the Airplane’s Marty Balin the matrix served as an early showcase for the band. There is a considerable amount of early material from this venue. They are scarce and currently undervalued relative to their historical importance and design.
