This original promotional poster is signed in gold metallic ink by the artist the late great Rick Griffin!!!

The promo poster for The Grateful Dead’s 1973 album release "Wake of The Flood" reproduces an amazing painting by Rick Griffin. As talented as Griffin was with pen and ink his touch with a brush was equally skillful. After his conversion to Christianity the artist devoted a great deal of his work to religious themes. The image of the Reaper came from Rick's visual interpretation of scripture after reading Revelations.
