The Crystal Ballroom had a brief flowering as a psychedelic rock ballroom from January 1967 through June 1968. Just after the Family Dog stopped running concerts there the venue was briefly called "The Crystal Dog" and FD ex-employees were coincidentally still running the shows. These handbills were images created by San Andreas Fault (Tad Hunter) and part of the short-lived "Crystal Dog" series which is sometimes considered to be a minor extension of the Family Dog Portland series.

These handbills are actual can labels printed on a press used to make commercial can labels.

This is a lot of 2 “Can Label” Thin Glossy Paper Stock Handbills from the Crystal Dog:

Fugs / Kaleidoscope (featuring David Lindley) - Original Handbill 5/3/1968

Kaleidoscope (featuring David Lindley) and the Family Tree -Original Handbill 5/17-18/1968
