This original Bill Graham poster promoted yet another appearance by the Mothers of Invention at the Fillmore venue. This time they were the headliner. The band was two short months away from the release of 'We’re Only In It For the Money' the band’s heavily satirical reflection of the 1960’s counterculture. Tim Buckley's January 1968 performance at the famed venue also preserved for history by this popular poster. In March 2018 a CGC Graded 9.6 of this issue realized a high water mark of $432 in our auction. This example here is just as clean and should enjoy spirited bidding from collectors who wish to own this original piece.
