This is the first CGC graded example of this original handbill to appear in our auction! This masterpiece by Victor Moscoso is at the top of the list of the artist’s contributions to the Avalon Ballroom/Family Dog series. It was an early experiment by the artist in the use of opposing colors to create different effects. This image is prominently displayed in The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. This is one of the classic images of 1960’s Psychedelic Art and as such it has been widely displayed in major art museums throughout the world! Original handbills from the early days of the Avalon are increasingly harder to uncover in top condition. This material is beginning to explode in value. NOW is the time to pick up these relics before they evaporate from public sale!
