If you assemble a list of the five most favorite Family Dog Designs from 1966 this is sure to EASILY appear on many collector lists as it depicts the devastation from the “Great Earthquake” one of the most important events in California history.
Original handbills such as this one are very easy to counterfeit. CGC has finally brought confidence and accountability into this corner of the marketplace. As a result we are seeing a surge in collector interest! In February 2017 a CGC graded 9.0 example realized $230 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this original handbill would be worth many multiples of the previously sold 9.0 example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior example now.
