Attention new collectors! This beautiful CGC graded 9.8 mint example is a post-concert reprint and can be acquired at a relatively low price. It's a great way to own this classic image without paying the high water mark the first original pre-concert printings call for. Are you new to collecting the early eye-appealing Avalon Dead materials by the legendary Rick Griffin? This lot is a perfect place to start!
Rick Griffins Masterpiece “Aoxomoxoa” is one of the most beautiful and requested Grateful Dead images of all time. The image was created for a 1969 Avalon Ballroom performance by the Dead and was soon thereafter appropriated by the band as cover art for their third LP.
