Van Morrison’s illustrious career started with the 1960’s garage rock band “Them”. From there he created one of the most prolific and long running solo careers of any of the 1960’s performers. Morrison is known for his unique blend of blue-eyed soul jazz and R&B and has created some of the music world finest hits along the way. Although he is known to be a mercurial live performer when he is on his game there is none finer.

This poster from a 1974 performance at Pittsburgh’s Syria Mosque displays a great photo of the singer from the early ‘70’s.
