Mojo Navigator Rock and Roll News was one of the first fan-made zines.  It was published in San Francisco California for just one year between August 1966 and 1967.  These were printed with a mimeograph and were created by David Harris and Greg Shaw. They have articles on everything about the San Francisco music scene covering early Grateful Dead Jefferson Airplane Fillmore exclusive interviews and anything Haight-Ashbury relevant.  Mojo Navigator #2 features an new article about the time when Jim Gurley moved to Ross California. The local residents banned together and passed a law that kicked Big Brother and the Holding Co. out of the town.

This lot will include a letter of Provenance from the previous owner of this material giving background information of its origin (see photo).
