The Grateful Dead / Hells Angels "friendship" is historic and it dates back to the early Prankster days. Over the years The Dead and Garcia played several performaces for parties hosted by the most well known motorcycle club of all time.

This poster for a 1970 Dead Concert at the Anderson Theater in Greenwich Village is one of the most desirable pieces of historic art  from the association of those two larger than life entities.

This was a Hell's Angels event and also included a set by New Riders of the Purple Sage. What a beautiful addition to the heavy Grateful Dead historian's collection!

This is just the SECOND example of this famous poster we have EVER offered at auction. The previous example was heavily damaged and restored and realized $1380 8/6/15. This piece is in a different universe in regards to both quality and desirability!
