This poster is one of Rick Griffins most appreciated and collected posters.  The design is a collage of various popular characters from  the annals of advertising  art.  Those are accompanied by some  of the artists favorite FD poster references. The timeless message of ” Everyone is Good at  Heart” brings this piece even greater meaning. This print was made for the opening of the Denver Family Dog.  The Denver Family Dog was a short-lived experiment to bring a San Francisco type concert venue to the Rockies. The venture failed to make any money and closed within a year however the club did produce a handful of great posters like this one .
