This very old 51+ year old poster embodies many of the central characters of the 1960’s -- The Hell’s Angels The Merry Pranksters and Big Brother and the Holding Company. The Grateful Dead were also in attendance but do not appear on the poster. As such it is an important historical artifact and it also features one of the best poster designs of the 1960’s the back of a leather motorcycle jacket designed by Gut one of the Hell’s Angels. This poster has been off the market for close to 30 years. In the past restored copies have regularly brought $3 000 - $3 300 at auction. The high water for MINT examples was $8 637.00 for a 9.8 example we auctioned February 2017. This example has no visible flaws and exhibits similiar eye appeal. It is the second finest we have ever seen or handled.
