We are pleased to offer the very FIRST CGC graded example of this super rare Cream poster to ever appear at public auction!

This poster and the opportunity it represents is interesting on a couple levels:

First we must say that this particular poster takes the prize as the most under graded poster we have ever seen come out of CGC. This specimen is super clean with no nicks cuts tears or pinholes! Some small areas of handling and one small piece of tape on the reverse somehow inexplicably knocks this down to an 8.0???

We grade this poster a solid 9.2 based on the thousands of other CGC graded posters we have handled but we would advise prospective bidders to stick with the unbiased third party opinion of CGC over ours on this matter. Suffice it to say the winning bidder will be overjoyed with the quality received for the monies paid on this lot!

Secondly this particular issue is VASTLY UNDERVALUED at today's current price levels. This is just the second specimen to appear at public auction in the past 10 years. The previous example cataloged as "Near Mint" was NOT independently authenticated and graded by CGC realized $4042 on 5/21/17.

This price level strikes us a extremely modest when compared to the more well known Cream posters from the Grande Ballroom that routinely command $6 000-$12 000 in similiar condition. However this type of counter intuitive situation is not that uncommon in collectible markets.

Often collectors focus their attention and search on material they perceive as having a realistic chance of possibly locating and acquiring while overlooking rarer issues. Ask any collectible dealer and they will tell you the first thing they need is "availability" in order to generate interest and demand.

This appears to be the case with this lot as this poster is drop dead gorgeous and was printed with fantastic silver ink!

One thing is for certain if you are looking to acquire a beautiful Blue Chip Cream poster from the 1960's you will have the opportunity to acquire the Grande issues every once in a while but you could wait a very long time before this opportunity presents itself again!
