This large poster was created for the second Isle of Wight concert features a classic image of Dylan.
The Isle of Wight Festival was one of the last major festivals of the 1960’s. The two-day festival featured a rare performance from Bob Dylan (accompanied by the Band) who hadn’t played live in three years due to his motorcycle accident. Dylan had blown off performing at The Woodstock Festival in his own back yard just a few weeks prior so he could attend this event.
Precious little Dylan material surfaces at public auction as Dylan pieces are almost always "held back" primarily trading privately for some other major rarity instead of being sold for just currency which can be found anywhere.
This poster is in absolutely amazing condition when considering it's massive size and super thin paper! An incredible lot!
