This magnificent poster for a cancelled Family Dog show at the Avalon is described by noted concert poster expert and historian Eric King as “The quintessential psychedelic poster”! The central image is borrowed from a 19th century painting by Viennese Painter Franz Von Stuck . This image is a reoccurring theme in the Avalon series with this being its first use. Because this show was canceled this poster was produced JUST ONCE. No reprints are available which insures constant demand for the FIRST (and only) PRINTINGS of this hugely popular design. 

Early Family Dog material is amongst the most sought after in today's maret and this poster represents just the 6th issue in the series. It is considered one of THE premier images ever created in the genre. Underpriced at today's levels but getting more expensive to own with each passing day.
