This is one of the most historically significant pieces in the entire Family Dog collection. This ad represents the First Time that the Grateful Dead played at the Avalon Ballroom. Even though they are billed third history clearly proved that the Dead were the most innovative improvisational band of the era.

Once again this hard to find handbill comes up much less frequently that the poster itself.

This undamaged handbill measures 5 1/2” x 8 17/32”. There are no nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. Super clean.
