The Yardbirds were the breeding ground for some of the greatest modern Blues guitarist of all time. At various periods during their heydey Eric Clapton Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page three of the most iconic guitar players of their time were the gunslingers in the band . This poster advertises the band playing in Santa Monica in 1967.
The art for this poster is wonderful. Interesting to see how Jimmy Page has a peace symbol directly above his head seemingly randomly placed there by poster artist Richard Tolmach. This rare poster is a sign of the times and is sure to be a fine addition to any collection! It is the very FIRST CGC graded example to appear at public auction. Many collectors believe that the CGC 8.5 grade is the very best--offering maximum quality and eye appeal and a great value. Besides it could be impossible to locate this scarce issue in any finer condition!
