This Rick Griffin design for an Albert King show at the Fillmore is his take on the “Laughing Cow” image. Rick borrowed several of his images from pop culture and advertising art . This concert had Creedence Clearwater Revival as a supporting act just months after the release of their first album. Within months they would create several timeless radio hits for which John Fogerty would receive no compensation for publishing rights one of the great injustices in the annals of rock and roll history.
